Veterinary Assistant

Harmony Animal Hospital is looking for a motivated, compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

We are a privately owned, well-established hospital in Jupiter that has served the community since 1981. Our hospital focuses on high-quality medicine, Fear Free handling, client education, and creating a supportive environment for both pets and our team.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build their skills and grow within a hospital that believes strongly in training and advancement.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Assisting doctors and technicians with patient care
  • Animal restraint and Fear Free handling
  • Cleaning and stocking exam rooms and treatment areas
  • Assisting with appointments and procedures
  • Caring for hospitalized pets
  • Preparing lab samples and assisting with diagnostics
  • Maintaining a clean and organized hospital

Preferred Qualifications

  • Veterinary assistant or animal handling experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well with a team
  • Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and occasional exotic pets
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
