We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart.

My precious Furry Friend?
Part mischief, but all blessing,
and faithful to the end!
You look at me with eyes of love,
You never hold a grudge,
You think I'm far too wonderful
To criticize or judge.
It seems your greatest joy in life
Is being close to me,
I think God knew how comforting
Your warm, soft fur would be.
I know you think you're human,
But I'm glad it isn't true,
The world would be a nicer place
If folks were more like you.
